Penge Family Church Football Club

 Welcome to the PFCFC website!

Breaking news:

. . . PRE SEASON TRAINING BEGINS ON SATURDAY . . .

About the club:

PFCFC was set up as part of the activities of Penge Family Church. Its aims are threefold:
1. To provide opportunities for members of the church to play regular, competitive 11-a side football.
2. To encourage fellowship between older and younger members of the church.
3. To be a witness to those who play with us and against us!

PFCFC is affiliated to the London FA.

PFCFC competes in the Bromley and Croydon Christian Football League, also affiliated with the London FA.

The league consists of three divisions and 30 teams. There is also an associate class of club who play in the cups and are looking to join the league in the future. We participate in the two cup
competitions and the annual 5-aside competition organised by the league. This season (2007/2008) we are also entering the National Christian Cup.

The current position of each of the three divisions is displayed below.

We are always on the lookout for friendlies, especially during the summer, so if you would like a game please send one of the contacts below an e-mail.

People in charge:

PFCFC is overseen by Ron Paterson, a full time Penge Family Church Elder.

Our Club Secretary is Nicola Hilton, who deals with the arranging of matches (amongst many other things).

Our current Manager is Stephen Ford, who makes the team decisions.

The contact details for all three of these roles can be found on the Club Details page.

Matches:

Details for all upcoming and past matches are displayed under the Fixtures page.

Our
home pitch is at:

Norman Park
Hook Farm Road End
Bromley

Our matches are played on a Saturday afternoon. Kick off is usually 2pm, although cup matches often start at 1.30pm, as do games in December as the light fades!

For details of opposition teams, including links to a map of their home ground, please see the Opposition Teams page

This is a typical pitch in our league......

Training:

We are currently training on Monday evenings.
If you would like to come to training then please contact
Richie Powell or Stephen Ford

Squad members should contact Richie if they are not going to be able to make a training session

Website:

Please feel free to browse the website and leave a message in the guestbook.

We run a couple of distribution lists. Members of the 'Supporters' list receive an email containing match details (time, opposition, place etc) and a brief preview of the match. They also receive an email containing any match reports posted on this site and the latest set of results and tables from the league. Members of the 'Results' list, receive an email with the match reports and BCCL results only.

To request to be added to the 'Supporters' list - click

Members of the club can log in and access further pages such as the Club forum which is woefully underused by most players - c'mon guys - get involved!

The website pages contain information regarding upcoming events and fixtures, results of previous games and match reports, player statistics and current league tables.

In particular, the News, Diary and Fixtures pages (accessed by the links on the left hand side) will contain details of places, times and details of all upcoming events, some of which may not be displayed on the right hand side of the website.
